Sahar Rock Melon

Sahar is a well-netted cantaloupe with firm, dense orange flesh, rich aroma and high sugar. Its sturdy netting and firm flesh give a longer shelf life and better handling than most open-pollinated types.

Growing notes

Sow into warm soil in full sun with good drainage. Reduce irrigation as fruit mature to lift brix. Harvest at full slip when netting is pronounced and the stem separates cleanly.
